Answer: Thor

Thor says this when fighting with a large SHIELD agent, referring to the fact he has fought bigger opponents, like the Frost Giants. He tries to sneak into a SHIELD operation that is studying his hammer, Mjolnir, that landed on Earth when he was banished. He wants to retrieve his hammer, to return home to Asgard.

Thor is the God of Thunder in Norse mythology, capable of great power.

Answer: Stormbreaker

There are several comical scenes in the film in which Thor apologizes to his battle axe, Stormbreaker, for still having feelings for his former weapon, the hammer Mjolner. Stormbreaker was crafted in the film "Avengers: Infinity War" (2018) by the dwarf Eitri with the help of Thor, Rocket Raccoon and Groot. Stormbreaker was no ordinary battle axe as it amplified Thor's powers and caused massive damage. However, Stormbreaker was also used to summon the Bifrost bridge which Gorr utilized to enter the realm of Eternity.

Answer: "After all I've done for you?"

Loki offers Laufey the chance to kill Odin for him, and in exchange, Loki would return the Jotunheim casket that was stolen by Odin during their first battle. Laufey agrees, not realizing that Loki has a far more devious plan in mind.

Thor takes Odin aside because, with Asgard no longer able to be defended, Jane must be placed somewhere safe, especially since the Dark Elves are likely looming nearby. Thor theorizes that if they can get Jane to Svartalfheim and have Malekith try and take the aether on the Dark World, they can save Jane and destroy the substance while it's exposed. Odin vetoes this idea, but Thor disobeys his father, instead heading to the dungeons and seeking Loki's assistance, promising vengeance for the death of their mother. He frees his adopted brother from his cell and, with the help of Heimdall, Sif, Volstagg, and Fandral, they commit a bit of treason, absconding to a secret portal and disappearing into it-- just the three of them; Thor, Jane, and Loki.
Darcy and Ian collect Dr. Zelvig from the institution and with him they collect his prescription medication and unique lab equipment. Something appears to be happening outside; the portals are forming more and more.

Loki, now with the power a circumstances he needs, returns to Jotunheim alone to seek an audience with his true father. Loki suggests that he can cloak Laufey and his men, bring them into Asgard, and have them kill Odin themselves before reclaiming the Casket of Ancient Winters. Loki returns to Asgard after this encounter and warns Heimdall not to let anyone use the Bifröst.
But that instruction is not listened to. Heimdall calls upon Sif and the Three Warriors while they talk in private about defying Loki and he insists that they commit treason, though he won't defy Loki himself. Instead, he leaves the Bifröst behind and they are allowed to use it themselves, landing in New Mexico near Puente Antiguo.
Loki sees the Bifröst being used from the palace and heads into the vault to summon the Destroyer. His instructions: Ensure Thor does not return and destroy everything. In retaliation, Loki freezes Heimdall in place with his Frost Giant powers.

Answer: Fandral

Right before escaping Asgard, Thor pushes Loki out of the ship and onto an Asgardian boat, piloted by Fandral. Loki slips as he lands on the boat, causing Fandral to laugh and poke fun at Loki. Then, Thor and Jane jump onto the boat as well.

Answer: "little princess."

When Thor and his crew enter Jotunheim, behind Odin's back, they eventually meet up with its King, Laufey. King Laufey tells the Thor they should go back home and not battle with the Frost Giants. He also mentions that Asgard's kingdom houses some traitors. Thor is upset at his words, but his brother, Loki, restrains him and leads him home until Thor gets taunted.

Answer: Pop Tarts

Pop Tarts are a sweet treat consisting of thin pastry layers and a juicy filling. Various fillings are available, including chocolate, apple and raspberry. They are made by the famous cereal company, Kellogs and originate from the United States. Thor comically eats the ten boxes and then shocks Darcy by claiming that he's still hungry.

Thor and Jane battle with Gorr the God Butcher and destroy the source of his power, the Necrosword. However, Gorr is still able to go into the realm of Eternity where he can seek immortality and to finish his mission to kill all of the gods. At the same time, Thor is with Jane during her last moments as she succumbs to her cancer. Thor tells Gorr that he should choose love which incidentally is also the name of Gorr's daughter. A dying Gorr asks Thor to watch over his resurrected daughter which Thor agrees to do.

Answer: Jane

As Thor departs, he meets with Valkyrie who, also sitting out because of her wounds, reminds him that the Gate to Eternity rests at the center of the universe. He just needs to destroy the sword...but he'll have to do it alone. She gives him Thunderbolt and he heads onward just in time for Gorr and the kids to reach the Altar and for Gorr to use Stormbreaker to gain entry.

Thor saves the kids at the last moment and Gorr jumps to the defensive. Thor briefs the kids on the plan, has them grab any weapons they can, and gives them a rousing battle speech before declaring them Space Vikings and bestowing his powers upon them. With that, they all proceed into battle, delving into combat against Gorr's army while Thor leaps past and battles the God Butcher. The issue, however, emerges when Gorr overpowers him, casting Thunderbolt away.

On Earth, Jane awakens with a sense of unease and Mjolnir, still by her side, quivers in eagerness to join the battle. Despite the risk, she arrives at the center of the universe just in time to prevent Gorr from dealing the killing blow, sacrificing herself for one last time as Mighty Thor. The two try to stop Stormbreaker and hold off Gorr, succeeding just in time for Thor to send the axe home with Axl and the children, but the damage is done. Thor and Jane sunder the Necrosword and destroy its fragments, signifying a death sentence for both Gorr and Jane...just as the three are brought before the Altar of Eternity.

Answer: The Commodore

The Grandmaster receives word that his slaves have been armed and freed and soon, Sakaar is in the throes of revolution. Thor and Loki head into the Grandmaster's hangars, meanwhile, armed with alien guns, and all the while they talk about their relationship. Oddly, both brothers believe that Loki should stay back on Sakaar; it's the perfect place for him to flourish. Go figure though, Loki puts quick effort into betraying Thor reaching the ships, but Thor ends up catching wise early on, planting a slavery disc onto his back and leaving alone. He reunites with 142 and Banner during a high-adrenaline escape on the Grandmaster's pleasure craft, the Commodore, and they fight off the Grandmaster's pilots before heading off the planet. The revolutionaries, meanwhile, give Loki a bit of a hand on their way out.

Answer: Earth

On Svartalfheim, Thor, Loki, and Jane have little to do but wait, but they don't wait long. Malekith returns to his home planet to draw the Aether from Jane and as they move in to meet the Dark Elf, Loki convinces Thor to remove his handcuffs and immediately stabs Thor, kicking him to the ground before the enemy forces and cutting off his hand. All of this is a ruse though; as Malekith moves in and pulls the Aether from within Jane, Loki drops the illusion and Thor uses Mjolnir to blast the substance with light energy. It doesn't work though. While Jane is saved, the Aether crystallizes and protects itself before infusing into Malekith. Malekith turns to leave, attempting to kill Loki on his way out, and Algrim stays back to finish the job, but the extended battle ends just as poorly. Loki returns to save his half-brother, but ends up impaled on a Dark Elf weapon before he can get away. He dies in Thor's arms.
Hiding away in a cave, Thor and Jane discuss their options...though those amount to none. Malekith plans to spread the Aether starting on Earth, and with the Convergence soon to occur, it seems all too possible. They are trapped on Svartalfheim, however. That's when Jane receives a phone call on her cell, somehow able to get a signal. On the cave floor, she finds the keys to her car as they'd been thrown through from the other side. She and Thor walk a few steps and emerge back at the abandoned warehouse, and while her car may be vandalized, it still works.
It means that they can drive to Jane's London lab, and when they get there, they find Darcy, Ian, and Dr. Selvig already hard at work determining where the Nine Worlds will connect. Selvig theorizes that if Malekith unleashed the Aether there, its power would be unstoppable. The right place and the right time, they realize, can be determined by the directions given to them by millennia of records. Right in the middle-- Greenwich.

Answer: Loki

Loki did not realize that part of Thor's plan for escaping Asgard was to change from a ship to an Asgardian boat. He is very pleased at Thor's deception.

Answer: "... be ready for it."

At the beginning of the film, when Thor and Loki are young boys, Odin talks to them about Asgard. A young, feisty Thor states, "When I am king, I'll hunt the monsters down and slay them all! Just as you did, Father," to which Odin responded with this quote.

Answer: Darcy tasers him.

Darcy (played by Kat Dennings) tasers Thor at the crash site where he landed on Earth; she says that he was freaking her out. It's a hilarious moment in the film. Thor is confused at how the humans are reacting towards him and cannot understand why they don't respect him as a king, like his people do. A taser gun sends an electric shock through your body, causing your muscles to spasm involuntarily which is why you fall over and appear to be having a seizure. Taser guns are commonly seen in the police force, where they are used as a defence weapon.

Answer: Guns N' Roses

The band Guns N' Roses was formed in 1985 in Los Angeles and they achieved superstardom with their debut album "Appetite for Destruction" in 1987. Four of their songs, "Welcome to the Jungle", "Paradise City", "Sweet Child O' Mine" and "November Rain" featured in "Thor: Love and Thunder". "Welcome to the Jungle" blasted while Thor assisted the Guardians of the Galaxy in battle. "Paradise City" played when the revitalized town of New Asgard is seen for the first time. "Sweet Child O' Mine" featured when Thor's goats break into Omnipotence City and "November Rain" could be heard when Thor and Jane fight Gorr near the entrance to the realm of Eternity.

It's not surprising these songs were featured in "Thor: Love and Thunder" since the film's director, Taika Waititi, is a huge Guns N' Roses fan.

Answer: Malekith

Malekith is the leader of the Dark Elves, and was the one who had tried to plunge the Nine Realms into eternal darkness with the Aether during King Bor's reign. He and his most trusted advisor went into a sort of hibernation period after the Aether was taken away, and did not wake again until the Aether entered Jane's body, and Malekith could feel its presence again. At the final battle, Thor uses the equipment of Jane's to cause enough cosmic disturbances to stall Malekith from succeeding in using the Aether on the Nine Realms during the Convergence. Malekith and his ship are transported to an uninhabited area of another planet in the Convergence, and his ship falls on him, crushing him.

Answer: Asgard must be destroyed

Thor, 142, and Banner return to Asgard just as Hela and Skurge flush out Heimdall to reclaim the Bifrost sword. Thor splits up from the other two in an attempt to locate Hela who, out in the mountains, locates Heimdall and the hidden Asgardians fleeing their safe haven. She only leaves their trail when Thor summons her from the throne, giving the last opportunity for the citizens to take the Bifrost Bridge to safety. Unfortunately, the great wolf, Fenris, and Skurge's forces flank them on the bridge, only avoiding fighting the untrained people of Asgard when 142 and Banner swoop in with firepower. Banner, realizing that Fenris won't die with their ship, leaps from the Commodore and transforms into the Hulk, morphing when he lands on the Bifrost Bridge and taking Hela's beast down into the water. At the same time, when the fight seems lost, Loki arrives with the revolutionaries, landing on the bridge to provide support.
In the throne room, Hela gets the upper hand against Thor because of her immense strength and she manages to bring him to his knees, swinging with her sword and removing one of his eyes. As she takes him into her grasp, Thor has a vision of Odin's spirit, still in Norway, and he receives the insight he needs: Asgard could be anywhere. Even if Hela has taken it, then it's wherever the Asgardians are. Only Ragnarok can stop Hela.
With a massive bolt of lightning, Thor is empowered. He casts Hela away and uses his electricity to battle her army alongside 142 and Loki. Thor, knowing he has to stop Hela once and for all, asks his brother to help him destroy the city. While the Asgardians flee and he sends Loki into the vault to grab Surtur's Crown, Thor and 142 battle the Goddess of Death on the bridge and, sure enough, his plan works. Surtur is reborn in the Eternal Flame and Asgard is almost instantly destroyed. The prophecy of Ragnarok is fulfilled.
Thor saves his people from extinction while Hela perishes with Asgard. As they fly off into the cosmos, Thor thanks Loki for his efforts. There, in their spacecraft, Thor takes the throne before his people as the King and they head to Earth.

Answer: Umbrella

While on Earth he carried the umbrella instead of walking around with Mjolnar. The hammer was later destroyed in the movie. Why he decided to disguise the hammer was unknown though, as he didn't hide his identity, even stopping to take pictures with people who recognized him in New York.

Answer: Thor

While Thor and Jane are leaving Svartelheim, Jane gets a phone call from Richard. Having no idea who that is, he poses this question to Jane. She responds by giving him a look and saying, "Really?"

Answer: Heimdall

The last lines of the film, before the clip after the credits, are between Thor and the gatekeeper Heimdall. They stand at the edge of where the Bifrost Bridge once was, staring down at Earth. Thor then asks, "Can you see her?" referring to Jane. Heimdall answers, "Yes... She searches for you."

Heimdall is the 'all-seeing, all-hearing" guard of the Bifrost bridge in Asgard.

Kenneth Branagh is an actor as well as a director. He has appeared in the 2008 film 'Valkyrie', alongside Tom Cruise, and also in 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets' as Gilderoy Lockhart. As a director he has worked on a lot of adapted from Shakespeare.
